If you could do anything. What would you do? My next question for you would be; "What is stopping you?" Life is not a dress rehearsal, this is it folks.
Like I should talk. I look at the photo's I take, and they are no where near what I want them to be. I listen to my ukulele playing and after two years I still suck.
So don't live like me, but go and be who you want to be, and as a friend, an amazing friend named Avis once told me; "don't ever let them tell you no".
No go - and be amazing

Stock Photo Solution
I use photo's and graphics in my PR job at Nashville Violins. I do not like using "stock photos" from google or any other location-a heavy weight of guilt comes over me even when I think about it. So, my solution...start up a set of my own stock photo's I can use at my disposal. I approached one of the violin teachers, and she eagerly said she would pose for me. So, here are a couple of the photo's from my photo shoot with her for work.

What a great way to support a good cause! The Tutu Project
The Tutu Project...have you heard of it? I had not until today, after a day of helping my boyfriend and his construction crew, (or rather destruction crew), tear down an old shed behind his place of business, I am unwinding online. I came across something that made me say, "why didn't I think of that?"
You need to check out this very creative individual: http://www.thetutuproject.com/ I highly recommend going through his collection, they are interesting and entertaining.

I surrender
I have accepted the fact of failure.
Nothing left to say...as my heart breaks and I move on from what I thought could be possible.

From October to March...
I can't help but debate what my purpose is...I was so certain for so long. Now I seem to struggle with motivation. *sigh*
I continue with commercial photography, and try to find a way to pursue personal projects. Maybe one day it will all come together and make sense again.

Sad that the last time I posted it was October, 2011. Now we are approaching St. Patrick's day. I don't know if I need to get more organized, or how I need to go about finding the time to do what it is I started what seems so long ago.
This photo is one I have taken recently for an Irish display that I put together for Nashville Violins. Who knew there could be so many fun colored items in music.
You all should stop by and visit sometime: 5109 Georgia Avenue, Nashville, TN 37209

Square Dance & Birthdays
A couple weeks ago a local organic farm held a square dance. I really wanted to go and thankfully my boyfriend decided to take me. I haven't been to a square dance, and it was actually a lot of fun. It helps that this local organic farm is absolutely beautiful and peaceful and the people who you meet are always friendly.
This fun event was at the very end of September - another fun event in September was my boyfriends birthday! I had a day of surprises for him! Breakfast of waffles waited for him when he got up. He got a gps with Yoda's voice, a ceramic motorcycle I had painted and a book he had wanted for a long time. Yoda took us to lunch, to the Country Music Hall of Fame to view the Chet Atkins exhibit and out to dinner.
Wine is very serious business - HA! Not!!! :) Having fun at Little Italy in Nashville, TN.

Commercial Photography...Yamaha 5 String Silent Pro Violin
It is fun to work at Nashville Violins - especially when I get to be one of the first to photograph a new instrument that shows up in the shop. One of those instruments would be the NEW Yamaha 5 String Violin. If I played professionally this would be the instrument going down the road with me. It is sexy, innovative and just flat out cool looking.
Until then, I will stick with the violin I have and keep on truckin with my ukulele...which this past Thursday, I just bought my second uke. I think I am addicted. :)
